THERAPY SERVICES

Individual Therapy

I offer individual therapy for adults navigating grief, loss, and life transitions. Sessions are currently held virtually, allowing you to access support from wherever you are in Michigan.

Therapy offers a space to slow down, tend to what feels heavy or uncertain, and explore the ways loss and change may be shaping your relationships, identity, and daily life.

A small, rounded ceramic vase with a textured, multi-colored glaze holds a dried floral arrangement. The flowers are in earthy tones of pink, beige, and purple. Next to the vase is a stack of five books with white, gray, yellow, and red spines, displayed upright on a light-colored surface near a window with white curtains.

Areas of Focus

While my work is rooted in grief and loss, I also support clients experiencing:

  • Anxiety, overwhelm, and chronic stress

  • Depression, numbness, or disconnection

  • Complex and relational trauma

  • Questions around identity, self-worth, and belonging

  • Burnout and caregiving fatigue

My Approach

My approach is collaborative, relational, and tailored to your unique experiences and needs. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship because I believe the foundation for meaningful change happens when you feel supported, understood, and able to show up fully as yourself.

Our work may include a blend of approaches such as EMDR, attachment-based therapy, parts work, creative art therapies, and somatic practices. Together, we can explore how past experiences, relationships, and patterns continue to shape your present while also building tools and supports for daily life.

I also value bringing a sense of humanity into the room. When appropriate, I may share parts of myself to support connection, authenticity, and a sense of safety in our work together.

Rates & Payment

Common Thread Therapy is a private-pay practice. This model allows for more individualized care, greater privacy, and the flexibility to work outside the limitations often imposed by insurance.

I offer a tiered rate structure rooted in accessibility, mutual care, and economic justice. You choose the rate that feels sustainable for you with no proof of income required. Choosing a higher tier when financially possible helps support lower-cost and community care spaces for others. I offer a tier selection worksheet to support you in identifying which tier best suits your needs.

  • Sustaining Rate: $210/sessions ($245 for intake)

  • Standard Rate: $175/session ($210 for intake)

  • Accessible Rate: $145/session ($170 for intake)

  • Supportive Rate: $115/session ($135 for intake). Supportive Rate spots are limited and intended for clients experiencing financial constraint.

A limited number of Community Care (pro bono) spaces may be available for existing clients experiencing acute financial hardship.

I am not in-network with insurance, but I can provide superbills for clients seeking out-of-network reimbursement.
